Lahinch sits on the Clare coast: championship links, a town on the beach, the Cliffs of Moher a short hop south. For Ryder Cup guests at Adare, it is one of the cleanest “play a round on a rest day” files. Black Car Dublin runs Shannon–Lahinch and Adare/Limerick–Lahinch private transfers.
Travel with Black Car Chauffeur Service Dublin — premium transport across Ireland and Northern Ireland — from airport transfers and business travel to private tours, weddings, and events.
From Shannon you are typically around an hour. From Adare, about 1 hour 15–30 minutes. Wind is included at no extra charge. We drive in weather; we do not cancel your tee time.
Rest-day golf that still leaves room for the cliffs
An early Lahinch tee, lunch in town, Cliffs late afternoon, back to Adare — only if the tee time is early. Otherwise golf only. Trying to honour a 13:00 tee and a sunset cliff walk is how people remember the car park, not the Atlantic.

Town, beach, and non-golfers
Lahinch is kinder to partners than a remote headland course. They can walk the promenade while you play. Wait-and-return is the quote for that. Timed collect is the quote if they want their own afternoon in Ennis or Adare — that needs a second thought, sometimes a second car.
Doonbeg the same week
Sensible as another night, not as two championship rounds plus a cliff tour in one daylight. See Doonbeg chauffeur.
Shannon land-and-play
Possible. Often unwise. Give the flight and the tee time together so we can veto a fantasy. Complimentary waiting still applies on international arrivals.
Ryder Cup calendar
Use Lahinch on a practice-week gap or after you fly home from the noise — not on the Sunday of the Cup. Your future self will thank your present self.
Beach town logistics
Lahinch is compact. That helps partners. It also means busy streets on a sunny Saturday. We plan the drop, not a cruise for parking that does not exist.
If you want the Cliffs after golf, the tee must be early and the group must be willing to skip a long lunch. We can do the heroic version. We prefer the version you still like at dinner in Adare.
Shannon land-and-play: send both times. If we say no, that is us protecting the round you already paid for.
Doonbeg the next day is a lovely Clare pairing. Doonbeg the same day as Lahinch plus cliffs is a montage, not a holiday.
To get a fixed quote for this Lahinch golf chauffeur job, send passenger count, luggage and golf-bag numbers, the pickup (hotel name or flight number), the drop-off, the date, and a mobile for the day. Keep the brief on this journey so we do not mix it with a different venue. If the date is close, call +353 852 400 955. We reply in hours on a normal brief. Capacity in peak weeks is finite — early holds beat a perfect PDF sent late.
